Personal Statement
Currently a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in Entertainment design in Art Center College of Design

in Pasadena, CA (Graduating Dec 2010). Hope to find an entry level position as a concept designer, main

focus in character and vehicle/prop design.

Professional Experience
Digimax Studios, Taiwan, Taipei, 06/09-09/09

    • Concept Design Lead
    • Learned how to manage 3 Junior level artist under and ran project lead for them.
    • Come up with concept design for an animation that talks about preserving wild life, it included coming up with Unique Styles, Characters, and environments.
    • Also worked on their now up coming movies as their lead concept artist doing character design and vehicle design.
    • As well as helped out their animated series Adventures in the NPM.

Pandemic Studios (EA), Westwood, USA, CA, 05/08 – 09/08

  • Art/Design Intern
  • Working with the Marketing department in promoting games such as Mercenaries 2, Saboteur, L.O.T.R. that includes online mini games and magazine promotions.
  • Also working as a concept developer for EA, coming up with new I.P. for EA games.

PPaper Design Team, Taiwan, Taipei, 05/07-09/07

  • Graphic Designer/ Illustration consultant
  • Handling projects mostly in Asia, with a group of designers from different design backgrounds. Projects such as business card design, store design, magazine layout, branding design, product design, and advertisement design.


Projects
Project Title: JU
Brief: Story of the monkey king but sets in the future. Worked as Lead concept artist Managing 3 Junior level

artists to complete this trailer from pre-production to end of production.

Project Title: Adventure of NPM
Brief: Ancient Chinese artifact comes to live (comedy). Worked as production artist coming up with design that

support the 3d modeling and texture sector.

Project Title: Textile International Forum and Exhibition
Brief: Designed the overall style approach this short film is going to set in. A heart felt film that shows Taiwan

and all it's beauty, and how destructive nature can be if man kind does not take care of the planet.

Project Title: E3 promotional project
Brief: combining 2 coming up games, for Pandemic Studios, into a motif and come up with a line of free

promotional items during summer of E3. Designing everything from banners to T-shirt designs.

The challenge is to do it with in budget and with in time limit.

Project title: What For (shoes company)
Brief: A project given by my project manager from the company PPaper, I was to design a whole store based on

their logo design, and have to be able to fit 250 different styles of shoes also showing it in an esthetically

pleasing way. I had to overcome the limitation of the store space and objects required in the design but still

able to pull everything together in a fluid design.
